Architectural CAD Technician to work alongside principal architects in the design and production of construction drawings for various commercial and multi-family residential projects.
KEEL Concepts expects the candidate to readily execute and have experience with the following:
Utilize AutoCAD to prepare building details, plans, and schedules.
Research material and equipment specifications for coordination of dimensional conformance related to construction.
Measure, document, and photograph existing buildings with accuracy and precision.
Prepare drawings for all phases of the design process from existing conditions plans to preliminary exhibits and concept plans to construction documents and as-built drawings.
Produce work using KEEL Concepts standards and styles.
Read, interpret, and work from basic and routine sketches, as-builts, red lined mark-ups, specifications, and construction drawings.
Receive work direction, assist in effectively organizing project production work flow, assist in general office administrative tasks to maintain a productive work environment.
The position will require a capacity for seeing patterns, discerning better processes, and continual development of methods for improved outcomes.
Flexibility will be necessary. As a small firm, work-flow will cycle and interruptions are regular, so the job candidate must be able to juggle and adjust on the fly.
Strong knowledge of Autocad.
Some experience with Revit, Sketchup and Photoshop may be useful.
